ur kind loving support for Hellenic College/Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology is needed. Won't we consider to send a thoughtful donation to help continue the means of helping those who desire to serve our Holy Orthodox Church.
Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology together constitute a vibrant Greek Orthodox Christian Institution of higher learning which provides undergraduate and graduate education.
The Institution was originally founded as Holy Corss Theological School in 1937 in Pomfret, Connecticut. Since then Holy Cross has served as the seminary of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas by preparing dedicated inidividuals for ordination to the priesthood and church service. In 1966, responding to the emerging needs of the Church, and by virtue of its own academic maturation, Holy Cross expanded its collegiate division into a full four-year liberal arts college, a distinct undergraduate school known as Hellenic College. Today the faculities and students of the undergraduate and graduate schools continue to form one community, sharing the same campus and facilities.
Both Hellenic College and Holy Cross are accredited institutions of higher learning. Hellenic College offers the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in four programs: classics, elementary education, human development, and religious studies. Holy Cross offers graduate programs of study leading to the degrees of Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.), Mastery of Arts in Church Service (M.A.), and Master of Theology (Th.M.).
The student body consists of women and men from various Orthodox jurisdictions within the Americas and throughout the world. Hellenic College and Holy Cross enjoy a strong pan-Orthodox and international presence on campus, which manifests the ecumencial and global vision of the Church.
Holy Cross Chapel serves as the spiritual core of the campus, where faculty and students gather daily. Through the curriculum and special programs, the faculty hope to address in a context of faith the vital issues that affect today's world. For both Hellenic College and Holy Cross, the integration of faith, learning, and cultural awareness is the essence of their mission to the Church.
Let us humbly help support Hellenic College/Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology with a donation of our choice, as we shall indeed see and be a part of the great results and blessings from our God.
Send your loving donations to the above address.
God love and Bless you!
